What is Egnyte?

One secure place for your firm’s files

Egnyte is a cloud content platform for sharing and working on files securely. It can replace an on-premise file server, gives your team access from anywhere, and builds in access controls, ransomware detection, data loss prevention and sensitive data discovery. It connects to Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce and more than 200 other apps.

In February 2026 Egnyte opened a UAE data centre on Microsoft Azure, alongside its data centre in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, so firms can keep their content in the region for data protection rules. In September 2026 it added Arabic right-to-left support to its web interface.

Governance features

For regulated firms

Know where your files are and who can open them

Where client files are stored and who can reach them are among the first questions regulators, auditors and clients ask. Egnyte gives you a clear answer: a chosen storage location, permissions you can review and a record of who opened, shared or changed each file.

We set this up for firms regulated in the DIFC and ADGM. See how we support DIFC firms and ADGM firms.

How it works

From file server to Egnyte

3. Migrate

We move and check your files, set up any on-site access and show your team how to use Egnyte.

4. Support
